Echo International Co-Sponsors ‘Globalizing Your Web Site’ Seminar

March 13, 2008

PITTSBURGH, PA – Echo International is co-sponsoring the ‘Globalizing Your Web Site’ seminar being organized by the Center for eBusiness and Advanced IT (eBizITPA) on March 13th at Penn State Dubois and on March 27th at Gannon SBDC.

The web has become the most prominent means to reach international markets, and understanding the various issues involved in using this tool is essential in building an effective globalization strategy. This seminar will explore the best course of action and key considerations to take before expanding into the global marketplace using the web.

“Many companies say that their biggest challenge in globalizing their web site is the overwhelming amount of information that they need to know,” Carrie Teetzel, Director of Education Programs at eBizITPA, said. “They often ask where to begin.”

One of the three speakers for this seminar will be Etienne Kröger of Echo International. Etienne has extensive experience in managing web localization projects for a large number of Echo International’s clients, and his portion of the seminar will be focused on the implementation process of web globalization.

Echo International has been a premier language and localization service provider for over 20 years to global corporations in virtually every industry sector. The Center for eBusiness and Advanced Information Technology is a resource initiative established in 2002, designed to help companies apply e-business technologies.
