Challenge

A German version of an Oracle UPK module was being created and added to the existing enterprise software solution.

With a main focus on driving the adoption of new technology and business process, The Abreon Group designs and implements software application training and development programs for their clients. For a specific client project, a German version of a user productivity training module was required to be developed and implemented into an established, limited access enterprise business systems application.

Approach

Publish new English module first and translate content for localized German module.

A member of Echo International’s project management team worked with The Aberon Group to develop a scope-of-work to effectively fit the nature of the job.

Solution

Localize software module in the most logistic manner.

Echo dispatched a German linguist to work onsite along with Abreon team members. Easy access to the Oracle application and precise language translations were facilitated by this method.

The German localization of the user productivity module went so smooth that The Abreon Group’s client is planning on adding more foreign languages for their international users.
